Areas of Responsibility: Marketing To coordinate and execute brand marketing projects within agreed timescales to raise the profile of the Original Penguin brand.
To assist Head of Marketing on implementing the Global campaign initiatives set by the US to a local level in the EMEA Market.
To assist in organising and executing photo shoots (Seasonal Look books and Flatlay shoots) including looks for the brand campaign shot in the US.
To manage trade show activity – stand builds, marketing materials, samples etc.
To manage the day to day communication across the business including: distribution of PR reports, formatting monthly reports, sales presentations and seasonal pressday reports.
To assist Head of Marketing in communicating with European sales agents; including distribution of monthly reports and POS materials.
To manage the retail and wholesale marketing supports including; all point of sale, windows, digital marketing and events.
To be the key point of contact in sharing brand news, assets and messaging with internal teams (ecomm, sales, merchandising, wholesale, agencies) PR To manage the development of the product placement strategy.
Day to day liaisons with agencies (Creative, PR/Social) Manage requests and placement opportunities with celebrities and brand ambassadors in conjunction with PR agency Compile monthly press reports.
Social Media To develop the social media strategy in line with US directives To build the monthly calendar of social media posts making sure all content is on brand and presented to the highest standard.
Liaise with the Global social team on shared messaging and campaigns around events such as Tennis and Golf.
To compile a monthly social media report.
Work with ecomm and retail teams to support sales and awareness as part of the social media strategy.
Graphic Design Liaise with graphic design agency to develop and print marketing materials (look books, showcards, advertisements, label packages, in-store signage, graphics for trade shows and events etc) Develop inhouse design/artwork for media, tradeshows, wholesale accounts and retail stores.
Be a brand guardian, making sure all creative is developed on brand.
Create presentations to support the sales and marketing teams.
Resize and format imagery to help support POS strategy Administration Compile monthly press, social, product placement and marketing reports.
Liaise with the finance team to set up new suppliers.
Manage all shoot agreements with legal in Miami Coordinate European sales conference twice a year.
Organise key internal and external meetings and conference calls.
Skills and experience desired : Proven experience in a similar marketing role, preferably within the fashion sector.
Keen interest in fashion and media.
Ability to manage and post across all social media channels Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design Creative flair, and ability to evaluate design work European retail and wholesale experience is advantageous.
