Responsibilities:
1. Work with Bentley requirements and departments, including calibration departments and vendors (ZF & Bosch).
2. Plan and coordinate with different teams from supplier departments for platform-feature planning regarding software and hardware components. Hardware components include a complete package that consists of mechanical components along with electrical and electronic hardware such as ECUs.
3. Test the flashed ECU software with the right calibrations, and pass it to the vehicle validation engineer to verify functions.
4. Determine the impact of new functions and features, and coordinate with the Change Control Board (CCB) for replanning. Note that homologation or emission impact changes have a separate CCB.
5. Plan the project and milestones for various releases, such as B-release, K-release, and Null-Series.
6. Configure various vehicles, features, and variants, and maintain this information in a central database.
7. Ensure adherence to the OEM release process gateways and milestones until SOP.
8. Awareness of cybersecurity and functional safety is beneficial but not mandatory.
9. Hands-on experience with vehicle data logging, measurement, and analysis of various vehicle functions.
10. Hands-on experience with flash and dataset container creation, and validation of these databases.
11. Hands-on experience with vehicle diagnostics, calibration, and function tests.
