Job Description
Wood is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Assurance Advisor to join our thriving Duty Holder projects within Woods Operated Asset Service Line. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the successful implementation of Assurance activities for two major UK gas terminals operated by Wood. Reporting into the Operated Asset Quality Lead, the Senior Assurance Advisor will play a critical role in driving a sustained quality culture. This role requires an understanding of oil and gas industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in quality management.
The Senior Assurance Advisor will ensure all quality activities are completed to project expectation and in a timely manner. To fulfil the requirements of this position candidates must be confident in their ability to advise where quality input is required and challenge where improvement could be applied, keeping a keen focus on mitigating project risk through assurance activity.
Responsibilities
* Audit against key Operating procedures and strategies to assure effective operation of the plant.
* Review and maintain Operations Management System/Business Management System.
* Liaise with site personnel to collate and trend active monitoring data.
* Review quality and adherence to company standards and industry guidelines for Operational Risk Assessments.
* Assurance review of functional support efficiency, i.e., Training & Competency, Occupational Health, Payroll.
* Review of investigation output relevant to root causes.
* Liaise with site superintendents and Technical Authorities for Quality Improvements.
* Assure Risk Management processes.
* Non-conformance management and investigations.
* Seek out and communicate lessons learned to share with the wider Service Line.
* Provide training and awareness programs for employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
* Monitor and assess the performance of suppliers and contractors, ensuring they adhere to quality standards.
* Lead and participate in Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
* Collaborate with HSE to align quality activities with the safe operation of the plant.
* Provide regular reporting and updates to management on quality performance, risks, and improvement plans.
Qualifications
Personal Specification & Experience
* Lead Auditor ISO 9001:2015
* Experience working with Onshore/Offshore projects
* Experience with COMAH/Safety Case Regulations (Preferred)
* Computer literacy
* Experience with Risk management and Continuous improvement methodologies
* Willingness to travel to project sites (Peterhead/Teesside) and supplier locations as needed.
