GSL Education London Branch is looking for a PE Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive coeducational secondary school in Newham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and motivated Physical Education Teacher to inspire young people and help them achieve their full potential in sports and physical education.
Responsibilities
As a PE Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver high-quality physical education lessons tailored to Key Stages 3 and 4.
Inspire and motivate students to participate actively in physical activities and sports.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
Ensure all lessons promote a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Organise and oversee extracurricular activities, including sports clubs and school competitions.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the PE curriculum and support whole-school initiatives.
Requirements
To be successful in this PE Teacher role, you must:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Have experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting.
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Be passionate about physical education and committed to student development.
Possess a solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one...
