We have a permanent vacancy within the Premix Department working days, but to cover the 2 Shift System when needed. This role is based in the premix department and also to act as assistance to the SHE Department (with an approximate 80%-20% split between the two departments, but this will be flexible depending on departmental requirements).

Your key responsibilities
The premix key tasks and responsibilities will include:
1. Inspecting the equipment in the field to ensure that it is working properly according to specified operating parameters (leaks, pressure, levels etc.) in the context of the production process.
2. Following the sequence of production as dictated by the production schedule.
3. Carrying out Front-line-maintenance and assist maintenance personnel on maintenance tasks.
4. To carry out packing tasks so that the products produced are packed and loaded to the prescribed standards with respect to quantity and quality.
5. Visual process observations in the field and reporting the findings to the supervisor/fitter.
6. Solving non-routine problems in consultation with the supervisor/fitter
7. Adjusting equipment where directed by the supervisor/fitter.
8. Cleaning process equipment and plant as required and preparing/charging raw materials for the entire process.
9. Identifying opportunities for improvement in preventative maintenance based on observation of plant operation and condition of equipment, installation, and infrastructure.
10. Preparation and isolation of equipment for maintenance.
11. Carrying out work in the dispensary, Label room, control room
The SHE responsibilities will include:
12. Promote and support the right behavioral approach to risk awareness to create an injury and incident free working environment.
13. Take part in the site’s SHE audit program to demonstrate compliance with DSM standards.
14. Collaborate with colleagues in the Regional and Global SHE functions to drive continuous improvement in SHE.
15. Assist with incident investigations.
16. Train and advise on Emergency response.
17. Take part in SHE Toolbox meetings.
18. Attend site DICI (DSM Integrated Continuous Improvement) meetings.
19. Site ADR Coordinator
20. Maintain the site observation program.

You bring
24. Successful candidates will hold a health and safety qualification, (minimum IOSH or equivalent) and have relevant industrial experience.
25. ADR / Dangerous Goods, COMAH, DSEAR, ATEX knowledge and experience would be desirable.
26. Other essential behaviors are effective administrative skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail.
