Job Description:
My Client is looking to appoint a Senior Structural Engineer to join an established team. You will be responsible for the following:
1. The preparation of reports, specifications, designs and drawings, briefing documents and feasibility studies.
2. Assisting with and leading a variety of projects from inception through to completion and undertaking integrated 3D modelling and structural design.
3. You will have worked with all common materials including Steel, Timber, Masonry and Concrete.
4. You will be confident with liaising with other designers, including, architects and on-site engineers.
5. Proficient in the use of the following software packages; Robot, Tekla Structural Designer and Masterseries.
Person Specification:
You will possess at least 5yrs experience in the industry and be Chartered or nearing Chartership status. You will possess in depth building construction knowledge, as well as a thorough understanding of the principles of Building Modelling Information (BIM). You will have a hands-on approach to projects and possess the experience to work on multiple projects simultaneously. The ability to work effectively and efficiently within a team. Good problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
