Lettings Business Manager @ Andrews Property Group
We are looking for an ambitious and personable individual to join our team as a Lettings Consultant across our Headington Lettings Hub.
In this role you would be responsible for assisting our customers from the start of their property hunt to move-in day. You’ll find out their requirements, assess their suitability as potential tenants, and get them matched up with properties. You’ll conduct viewings, report back to landlords, and ensure that all appropriate referencing is completed. You’ll build a long-term relationship using effective people and communication skills while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
Please note, this is a temporary role for maternity cover.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
1. Report to the Lettings Business Manager.
2. Be responsible for front line customer service, registering applicants, listening to their needs, and assessing their suitability as potential tenants.
3. Play a key role in business generation by calling through our existing database of clients.
4. Actively encourage the applicant to view suitable properties through constant communication, and by arranging and conducting property viewings.
5. Proactively collect feedback from applicants in a timely manner and feed this information back where necessary.
6. Receive offers from prospective tenants and establish the suitability of the tenant. Confirm any offer on the property in writing, and where necessary negotiate between two parties.
7. Ensure all customers are fully aware of the process they are entering into including the costs and financial implications. Confirm they are aware of the support and services that can be sourced through the Andrews Property Group network.
8. Deal with any problems arising during the lettings process, taking appropriate action as required. Update the Business Sales Manager by way of regular communication so that the matter can be dealt with in accordance with procedures.
9. Maximise business efficiency through effective diary and system management, ensuring we make the best use of our time, and work to suit the needs of our customers.
10. Understand your branch and personal KPIs, to lead to achieving and exceeding the figures required to satisfy the branch performance.
The Successful Candidate will have:
1. Previous property experience is desirable, but not a necessity.
2. Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
3. A self-motivated and positive attitude even when under pressure.
4. Excellent organisational skills, and an eye for detail.
5. Passion for the property sector and a desire to learn.
6. Familiarity with the use of IT systems.
7. Their own transport and full UK driving licence.

Please note, salary advertised is basic salary with OTE included.
