Artemis Human Capital is thrilled to have partnered with a retail business in Belfast who is seeking to appoint a Financial Controller to undertake a pivotal role within the company. This is a new role created following significant success and growth. Reporting to the MD the successful Financial Controller will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as the development of internal policies and procedures. The Role: Day to day management of the finance function Preparation of monthly management accounts Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts Cash flow management Preparation of monthly board packs and commentary Identifying improvements for accounting systems and processes Business partnering with wider business areas Report to the MD with timely and accurate financial information, including an understanding of WIP Analysing operational costs and identify areas for improvement Perform month-end and year-end close activities The Person: Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with the wider business Ability to present financial information to board level Experience of business analytics tools The Benefits: Up to £60K Significant opportunities for career advancement Hybrid working City centre location To apply for this Financial Controller job please click on the link below or contact Laura Haggan to discuss in the strictest confidence.
