Job Description:
We are seeking to recruit a Senior Lecturer and Course Lead with the vision, commitment, academic ambition and capacity to contribute to the delivery of Physician Associate education.
We are looking for a clinician from an appropriate discipline (Physician Associate, Nursing and Midwifery, Allied Health or a doctor) who has a passion for developing and teaching healthcare students both academically and in preparing to practise, and will need to be confident in delivering the underpinning knowledge they require to graduate from our highly valued PA programme.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in educational scholarship to develop their educational skills with further opportunities available to help your development as an academic in Higher Education, including support in gaining a recognised teaching qualification and a CPD programme to help you achieve Fellowship of ‘Advance HE’.
The post is full time, but may also be negotiated on a part time/job share or secondment basis where appropriate, which will be discussed with the successful candidate.
