About the Team Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service has fantastic opportunities for competent fire safety regulators to join our Fire Protection team on a temporary casual basis. We welcome applications from individuals who have extensive experience and confidence in enforcing the provisions of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. Those who wish to apply will need to commit to a minimum of 7 hours per week on average. There is also an opportunity to provide out-of-hours fire safety rota cover. This will be discussed with successful applicants. About the Role Successful candidates will be responsible for conducting fire safety audits in relevant premises across Warwickshire, to ensure that responsible persons comply with their obligations under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. This includes producing letters and formal notices to inform the responsible person of the outcome as well as provide feedback, guidance, and instruction. About you To be successful, you must have the level of experience and qualifications necessary to be deemed a competent Fire Safety Inspector. This should include, as a minimum, the Level 4 Diploma in Fire Safety (Fire Inspectors) or equivalent qualification. You will also have experience in producing letters and written reports to a high standard, as well as proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Outlook.
