About Raith Rovers FC
Raith Rovers are a full-time football club based in Kirkcaldy, currently competing in the Scottish Championship.
Under new ownership since May 2023, the club is ambitious in its objective to return to the Scottish Premiership for the first time in 28 seasons, driven by a culture of hard work, skill, and innovation.
We are now seeking the club’s first-ever Recruitment Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping and supporting the club’s recruitment strategy.
Role Overview
The Recruitment Analyst will be instrumental in supporting Raith Rovers FC's recruitment and talent identification efforts.
Working closely with the Technical Director and other key stakeholders, the Analyst's primary responsibility will be to establish systems and processes that underpin a data-driven recruitment strategy.
This strategy will focus on identifying the best talent in alignment with the requirements and game model outlined by the Technical Director, the first-team manager, and coaching staff.
This role demands strong analytical skills, a passion for football, and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recruitment strategies.

Qualifications & Skills
1. Education: A degree in Sports Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. A background in football analytics or similar experience is preferred.
2. Experience: Proven experience in sports analysis, data analytics, or recruitment within a football environment. Experience working with performance analysis tools such as Hudl, Wyscout, or similar platforms is highly desirable.
3. Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, R, Python, or similar)
4. Experience with football-specific analysis software (e.g., WyScout and StatsBomb)
5. Strong understanding of football metrics and player statistics
6. Analytical Thinking: Ability to collect, interpret, and present data insights in a clear and actionable format for non-technical stakeholders.
7. Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
8. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively to various stakeholders.
9. Football Knowledge: In-depth understanding of football tactics, player development, and team dynamics, with a passion for the game and a keen eye for talent.

What We Offer
1. Salary: £30,000 - £40,000, based on experience.
