Deliver cages of clean linen to departments/wards in a timely manner using tug and collecting cages of dirty linen which help to support clinical colleagues in delivering high quality patient care.
Put linen away on ward shelves and ensure systems are in place in relation to health and safety and quality.
Pack clean linen into cages for next day's deliveries to continuously improve standards of care and service.
Check-in linen from outside supplier and place in situ in linen room and stock cupboard.
Adjust linen quantities for requirements on wards or departments to help support the division in identifying and achieving efficiency savings.
Sort and transfer dirty linen bags into appropriate cages.
Sweeping and mopping of linen and canteen rooms and general housekeeping
