The Role
We are seeking an outstanding individual to join our experienced team of teachers at Alton Park Junior School. This position will suit an experienced or newly qualified teacher.
This post is 100% FTE.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
• Promoting the aims and objectives of the school and maintaining its philosophy of education and to support the Head Teacher in promoting the ethos of the School;
• Setting high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils;
• Promoting good progress and outcomes by pupils;
• Planning and teaching well-structured lessons;
• Managing behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment.
We're looking for you if you have:
• Qualified Teacher Status in the UK
• Successful teaching experience within the primary sector
• Thorough knowledge of a range of teaching, learning and behaviour management strategies and how to use them effectively
• Good knowledge of policies and commitment to safeguarding children
• Commitment to the vision, aims and values of the Trust/School

Pay Range: Teachers Main/Upper Pay Scale
Actual Salary from: £30,000 – £46,525 (M1 – U3)
Start Date: 1st January 2025
