We are looking for a talented Project Manager to join our expanding team. You will be working on a varied portfolio of electrification projects for clients within the Rail sector.
Key duties and responsibilities:
1. Determine and define project scope and objectives
2. Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
3. Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
4. Track project costs in order to meet budget
5. Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
6. Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
7. Full accountability of both accurate forecasting and profit margins
8. Manage contracts with stakeholders and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
9. Utilise industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
10. Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
11. Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
12. Contract reviews
Knowledge, skills, behaviour, and experience required:
1. Degree qualified or equivalent demonstrable experience
2. 5-8 years of project management and related experience
3. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
4. Proven ability to solve problems creatively
5. Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
6. Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
7. Excellent analytical skills
8. Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
9. Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
10. Knowledge of industry’s legal rules, guidelines and diverse business principles and functions
11. Desire for self-development and continuous self-improvement.
