Facilities : This is a multidisciplinary referrals practice based in the North Bristol area, offering soft tissue, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, neuro-diagnostics, dentistry, and internal medicine. They pride themselves on offering excellent client care and having a friendly working atmosphere. They are a hospital practice with vets on site 24/7 and have MRI and CT, a range of scopes, ultrasonography, onsite lab etc and a great team of experienced nurses and support staff.
Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Referral Medicine Clinician to join our clients' fantastic team.
Duties :
1. You will be responsible for independently managing medicine cases to a referral standard, and for communicating with clients and referring vets.
2. You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team, working in collaboration with other disciplines.
3. You would be expected to take responsibility for your cases and help build the internal medicine service offered by the practice.
4. They have a team of 13+ nurses to support their clinicians, they have specialist imaging support and you would also have the support of a diploma holder in internal medicine for advice.
Hours : Full-time and part-time contracts will be considered
Applicant Requirements:
5. They would expect applicants to be advanced practitioners in small animal medicine or above and have experience and confidence in managing referral level cases, including writing referral reports.
6. Experience in imaging (use of CT and ultrasonography) would be advantageous.
7. Good communication skills and a willingness to work in a team are essential.
