Job summary Norwood Medical Centre have an exciting opportunity and are looking for a Salaried GP to join our friendly team. We are a GMS training practice with a large multidisciplinary team consisting of 7 partners, 3 salaried GPs, 5 practice nurses and 2 health care assistants, we also have a large supportive management and admin team that consists of a further 13 staff. We are a practice whose ethos is strongly focused around working together to support our deprived community and fight to address health inequalities. We are a close working supportive team where social events are a key part of the practice and we are extremely proud of this. Main duties of the job We are looking for a focused and motivated GP to join our hardworking and supportive team. You will be expected to work as an autonomous GP and will be responsible for the provision of general medical services to our practice population. We are seekng a GP to work 4 sessions per week ideally over two days. About us Norwood Medical Centre is a practice based in the North of Sheffield, we are a single site purpose built building. Our patient list size is currnetly around 9400 patietns We have a large multidisciplinary forward thinking team and are an active member of SAPA5 primary care network where we have access to a wide range of ARRS staff who work with the practice and across the PCN. Staff includes several clinical pharmacists, two first contact physiotherapists, a dietician, care coordinators, a team of social prescribers and health coaches and primary care mental health team. Our timetable is structured around daily clinical meeting and coffee time which works well and allows a supportive day.
