Job description: We have an opportunity for a Lead Engineer - Electronics Hardware to join the Andretti Cadillac Team at the new Silverstone Facility. In this role you will provide technical expertise and leadership for the Electronics Hardware group. At Andretti Global, we aspire to be the absolute best in every aspect of our team. Principal Accountabilities: Management and responsibility of the Electronics Hardware team. Leading a team of engineers to manage the development, delivery and reliable operation of the car electronic systems. Provide technical input into all aspects of electronics systems architecture and development. Generation of technical documentation to cover trackside operation, procedures and updates. Ensure electronic systems and installations fully comply with the FIA technical regulations. Ownership and resolution of electronic system faults. Provide technical support within and outside the group. Mentoring junior team members. Liaison with suppliers and technical partners. Requirements A degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering/Electronics) or similar. Extensive experience with the specification and design of top-level motorsport wiring harnesses, including proficiency with electrical system design packages. Experience with the design of low volume prototype analogue and digital electronic circuits. Experience with motorsport data logging systems, preferably F1 SECU. Experience with automotive electronic systems, CAN and sensing technologies. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. Able to perform duties in a timely manner with minimal errors. Ability to line manage / lead teams effectively. Communicate effectively with key stakeholders/directors. Clear and concise communication. Strong levels of IT skills including MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture.
