Job Description
1. Ensure the proper use of machinery, equipment and assembly lines within a production area.
2. Assist management in allocating, coordinating and overseeing shift plans to ensure production KPIs are on track.
3. Lead and manage the engineering and manufacturing team.
4. Implement safety and quality control measures.
5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
7. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance productivity.
8. Provide technical support and guidance to the team.
9. Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
10. Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Team Leader should have:
1. Proven experience in a team leadership role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Mechanical assembly experience and electrical knowledge.
3. Strong knowledge of safety and quality control measures.
4. Excellent communication and team management skills.
5. Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What's on Offer
1. £32,000 per annum.
2. Working hours - 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
3. 5% Bonus.
4. Overtime - 1.5 x Mon to Sat and 2 x Sun.
