The role will involve one to one careers interviews alongside supporting the whole school strategic careers programme. You will want to make a difference and be able to bring out the best in others, be approachable and articulate, organised and methodical and have excellent administration and IT skills. It is essential that you hold qualification in Careers Guidance and Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development or equivalent; have expert knowledge of legislation and guidance on careers, including the Gatsby Benchmarks, as well as holding GCSE Grade C or above in English and Mathematics or equivalent. Farlingaye High School is a popular and successful school, located in Woodbridge, a pleasant market town situated on the River Deben in Suffolk and just 7 miles from Ipswich.
