Their operations are based in Heathrow, where they employ a significant workforce to manage their expansive logistics operations. Description Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments. Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels. Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy. Organising files both manually and electronically. Monitoring and facilitating repair orders. Coordinating driver communications, including schedules and job assignments. Assisting with billing and customer service. Maintaining knowledge of current transport laws and regulations.Profile A successful Transport Administrator should have: A solid understanding of transport laws and regulations. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines.
