We are recruiting 6 Weekend Youth Support Workers
Join our team to work in Children's Residential Care Homes.
We can consider individuals without relevant qualifications or experience, as we have a dedicated training department to support your success. We believe that some of the best support workers have life experience and are seeking an opportunity in the care sector.
You will work with young people aged 11 to 21 who are in the care system for various reasons, with diverse needs and behaviors. We require individuals who are confident, understanding, patient, and skilled to positively impact their lives.
Role Responsibilities
1. Providing guidance, interaction, and support within residential, educational, or independent living settings.
2. Creating a safe environment that addresses the intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs of the individuals.
3. Supporting service users with daily tasks such as meal preparation, social activities, family contacts, education, and shopping.
This position does not involve personal care.

Training and Qualifications
Full accredited training and qualifications are provided, including:
* Team Teach
* Child Protection
* St Johns Ambulance First Aid
* Understanding Sexualised Behaviour
* Working with Self Harm
* Cyberbullying
* Understanding Autism and ADHD
Additional Requirements
You must complete an enhanced DBS check or provide a portable DBS, and successfully complete an induction program before placements, unless you are on the new national DBS database.
