The neonatal team has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and dynamic Advanced Clinical Practitioners to join our ACP team.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a suitability and commitment to advanced clinical practice, exhibit a passion for clinical practice, and have a mature and professional attitude to working with neonates and their families. You will need to maintain good working relationships.
You will be required to demonstrate all of the above characteristics along with your level of practice through a portfolio of evidence.
The post is a 12-month fixed-term position for secondment cover.
Main duties of the job
The role of an ACP with the Neonatal Unit at Mid Cheshire includes performing comprehensive assessments of neonates and family health care needs, planning, implementing, and evaluating care delivery according to changing health care needs/identified problems.
The successful candidate will utilise advanced clinical skills and higher level, autonomous decision-making skills in the assessment and/or diagnosis and/or management of neonatal health and illness, including the critical application of research findings relevant to the management of neonates and their families.
