Job summary We are looking for a caring, helpful and positive Practice Nurse to join the lovely team at Dr Mathews Surgery This role is part time and the candidate will be working over two sites (Stirling Medical Centre & Cromwell Road Primary Care Centre) They will be required to run clinics covering Phlebotomy, Chronic Diseases, Immunisations, Long Term Conditions, Cervical Screening & much more Main duties of the job To be responsible for the implementation of processes for the effective management of patients with long-term conditions using evidence-based practice including care for elderly and housebound patients. The Practice Nurse will be responsible for a number of clinical areas such as infection prevention and control, health promotion, chronic disease management, health promotion, well women and well man clinics, as well as actively supporting the practice management team in the reviewing and delivery of clinical policy and procedure. This includes Phlebotomy, Wound Care, ECG's, Chronic Disease Management, Cervical Screening, Adult & Child Immunisations.
