The job purpose:
· To prepare and teach lessons that fulfil the planned curriculum for English at KS3 and KS4 (AQA GCSE) and KS5 Media Studies A Level (OCR).
· To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
· To facilitate and encourage a learning environment which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential and personal best.
· To contribute to raising standards of students’ attainment.
The school, who achieved the Ofsted rating ‘Good, is located within easy reach of central London via the District Line and easily accessible via the A13. There is a high-quality induction and extensive in-house CPD program available to staff as part of our strong commitment to staff development with a wide range of experience in the DP6 team.
