Staffordshire County Council is seeking a dedicated and skilled Training Facilitator to join our team and enhance the quality of social care across the county. In this role, you will work flexibly across various care settings, locations, and providers to develop and deliver training programs that ensure care is provided in accordance with current standards. This is a fixed term post for 2 years. Main Responsibilities As a Training Facilitator, you will: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs tailored to diverse settings and audiences. Ensure compliance with current standards by staying updated on changes in regulations and best practices. Create bespoke training programs and deliver recognised programs such as Oliver McGowan. Provide advice, guidance, and support to care providers to promote and achieve best practices. Participate in quality assurance activities including evaluation and self-assessment to drive continuous improvement. The Ideal Candidate What You Will Bring: A proven track record in developing and delivering training programs to adult learners. Relevant work experience within a social care provider setting. Sound knowledge and understanding of the needs of people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex care needs. Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize workloads. Excellent communication skills to engage with staff at all levels and build effective relationships with stakeholders and other professionals. What You Will Have: A Level 3 qualification in training and/or assessment. Strong interpersonal and networking skills. Proficiency in information and communication technology. Demonstrable literacy and numeracy skills. Ability to travel independently across the county as required. Applications close 11 December.
