Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client to recruit a Trade Sales Assistant/Sample Room.
This is a varied role working across two departments. Our client has a lovely Tile and Bathroom showroom open to the public and trade, and they also have a sample room where sample boards are made for sales reps, trade customers, and retail showrooms across the UK.
They are looking for a bright, friendly, engaging, customer-focused individual.
Duties:
1. Meet and greet customers
2. Check stock and delivery dates
3. Take payment and input sales orders on the system
4. Making up sample boards using various tools for the sales reps and customers
5. Collecting orders from the warehouse to deliver to customers' cars
6. Helping to keep the showroom and sample room tidy
7. FLT driving (training can be provided) moving stock around to highlight promotions, end of line stock, etc.
Skills and experience required:
1. Friendly, professional, confident, and reliable
2. Good customer service skills
3. Comfortable with training for use of electric tile cutter, glues, and grouts
4. Comfortable with some lifting and moving stock (nothing too taxing)
5. Able to work 5 days a week Mon - Sat, working every Saturday with a day off in the week
There is a free car park on site and a staff canteen. Breaks are 30 mins for lunch and 2 x 15 mins break.
