Service Technician – Dairy Equipment

The Job:
An exciting opportunity awaits for a Service Technician to join a leading dairy equipment specialist that offers sales, installation, and service for milking, cooling, and feeding systems. As part of the role, you will ensure voluntary milking systems are serviced to the highest standards. Additionally, you'll assist sales managers by handling customer inquiries and showcasing product features during demonstrations. Working independently yet within a close-knit, skilled team, you'll report directly to the Aftermarket and Service Manager.
Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Servicing and supporting voluntary milking systems
2. Offering technical assistance and troubleshooting to customers
3. Collaborating closely with district sales managers to address inquiries and support clients
4. Managing your workload effectively and prioritising tasks independently
5. Traveling for training purposes and to assist colleagues in different regions
All while maintaining a strong commitment to delivering quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The Candidate:
* Experience in service and maintenance within the agricultural industry
* Technical and mechanical knowledge, with an interest in robotic milking systems
* A proven track record of excellent customer service
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a solution-focused mindset
* Good IT, verbal, and written communication skills
* Flexibility to plan and prioritise workload effectively
* Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
* An interest in animal husbandry and milk production is advantageous
