Stirling Dynamics is recruiting a Marketing Executive to join the team.
The successful candidate will support the co-ordination and delivery of marketing activities across the full marketing mix.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Executive will provide high quality marketing support across copywriting, graphic design, event co-ordination, website, social media, presentations, brand, PR, plus reporting & measurement of these activities. The role will support five key business areas across the aviation, aerospace and marine industries.
The successful candidate will have experience of writing for different marketing channels, creating professionally designed marketing literature and graphics, and working with websites (content and web development). They will be highly organised and may have previous experience of supporting events.
This role would suit a candidate who has previous experience in a general marketing role and enjoys working across a broad range of channels. The role requires someone who has superb attention to detail and can work quickly and efficiently with a high degree of accuracy.
This role will be based in our Bristol offices however as part of our commitment to flexible working, employees are able to combine office work with remote working.
Responsibilities
1. Copywriting for digital and traditional media including: social media posts, website pages (including insights/blog posts), product fact sheets and brochureware, presentation materials and press releases.
2. Graphic design of fact sheets and brochureware, social media graphics, presentations and other graphics to support external communications, using Adobe Creative Suite.
3. Event co-ordination – supporting the wider business in preparations for attending and exhibiting at key industry events throughout the year, ranging from small UK events to large overseas exhibitions.
4. Website support – creating, editing and publishing webpages, including product pages and insights/blogs. Supporting the development of the Hubspot website to maximise the effectiveness of our online presence and support each business unit’s online requirements. An understanding or knowledge of SEO and paid search.
5. Social media – creating and scheduling regular posts to support brand awareness, product promotion, event attendance and recruitment, including use of paid social media where relevant.
6. Presentations – creating and editing bespoke presentation slides for client meetings for our five key business units.
7. Brand – supporting the development of the Stirling brand including key messages and visual identity.
8. PR – writing press releases and blog posts to promote the business across our key industries.
9. Reporting & measurement – Support on reporting the results of general marketing activity and results of specific campaigns.
10. Stakeholder communication – working with internal and external stakeholders including senior management and suppliers.
Qualifications
Degree educated or equivalent work experience
Skills
11. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
12. Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders, including technical specialists and senior leadership
13. Good copywriting skills, including the ability to craft and distil key messages into effective marketing communications
14. An eye for good design and experience in using Adobe Creative Suite (such as InDesign, Photoshop, Premier Pro), additional software training can be provided for the right candidate
15. Ability to use a Content Management System (such as Hubspot) and an understanding or knowledge of website development and SEO
16. Ability to multitask and prioritise workload in line with business needs
17. Ability to work to deadlines
18. Proactive and comfortable to use own initiative to progress assigned tasks
19. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint

Competitive package - Grade 2-3 with a salary banding of £25,000-£35,000 dependent on experience.
