What we are looking for in you
We are seeking a passionate, proactive, and resilient leader to join our West Somerset Housing Team, contributing to both our Young Person’s and Adult Housing Provisions. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the Housing Operations Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred support to those who need it most.
You will play a key role in creating an environment where individuals feel empowered to thrive, achieve their personal goals, and enjoy a safe and supportive living space. With your strong leadership skills, you’ll inspire the team to provide exceptional support while building positive, professional relationships with both customers and colleagues.
As part of your responsibilities, you will:
1. Coach and develop staff to maintain consistent, high-quality support.
2. Implement best practices to uphold the highest standards of service delivery.
3. Support the Manager in tracking progress, meeting individual needs, and achieving measurable outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse groups, including young people and adults, and a deep understanding of the challenges they face in their accommodation journey. You’ll bring strong communication skills and compassionate leadership, balancing individual needs with team objectives to foster an inclusive and positive environment.
If you’re driven by a passion for helping others, thrive in a collaborative setting, and are ready to support a team in delivering outstanding results, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Join us in making a meaningful, lasting impact on the lives of young people and adults in need of housing support - we can't wait to hear from you!
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our children and young people. We follow a safer recruitment process, and all appointments are subject to an Enhanced DBS check and are required to provide two suitable references.
