As Project Manager you are responsible for the successful delivery of engineering projects that enhance the road and transport network, aligning with the company's business objectives. Key Responsibilities: ·Oversee the end-to-end project management of complex and high-value highway and civil engineering projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while meeting client and stakeholder expectations. ·Manage project requirements and changes through a structured risk management approach across the project lifecycle, balancing competing demands and costs, and making informed recommendations to the client to ensure project success. ·Lead communication and consultation efforts, acting as the key point of contact for all stakeholders, maintaining confidence, and upholding the company's reputation. ·Prepare and oversee the production of essential documentation, including planning submissions, land assembly agreements, contracts, and funding agreements, ensuring all necessary information is in place for project delivery. ·Hold internal and external project team members accountable for delivering project outputs in line with the agreed programme, maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring project success. ·Collaborate with the Construction and Commercial Division to support workflow efficiency, contributing to the company's business plan objectives for productivity and profitability across design and build functions. ·Provide specialist expertise and advisory support to internal teams, clients, and external organisations at both local and regional levels to facilitate project delivery. Knowledge, Skills & Experience: ·A degree in Transport, Civil Engineering, or a related field, combined with relevant post-qualification experience, or equivalent expertise gained through practical experience in highway and civil engineering project management. ·Strong ICT proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications, project management software, and familiarity with data management systems. ·Proven experience in project management within a highway and/or civil engineering environment. ·Expertise in budget monitoring and financial reporting for complex and high-value projects. ·Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in providing clear information and fostering collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues. ·Knowledge of land acquisition processes, statutory procedures, contract preparation and management, planning, and funding applications. ·Ideally an understanding of NEC4 contracts If you feel that you are right for this role technically, but the salary, location or seniority does not suit you specifically then please still feel free to send us your CV.
