If so, we want to hear from you As a Senior housing management worker, you will have the responsibility for up to four staff members to ensure our housing management services are consistently delivered to a high standard and that our properties are adequately maintained and that they are safe and secure for our residents. Job overview Reporting to the Operations Manager you will manage and support the housing management workers who support our residents from application right through to resettlement. You will ensure that they carry out their duties in line with our policies and procedures and you will be the first point of contact for or any issues that may arise Carry out effective line management and guidance to the Housing management workers on the project including, training, appraisals and supervisions Ensure that the supported accommodation is meeting the objectives and performance criteria of Amicus Trust Limited Be responsible in ensuring staff are interviewing clients in a timely manner Confirm that housing benefits claims are being made promptly Ensure that the collection of licence charges inclusive of rent, housing services and personal contributions are completed Escalate problems in regards housing benefit payments to the Operations Manager Support staff to ensure clients accommodation is safe and secure Ensure staff are developing and maintaining professional trusting relationships with clients Guarantee that accurate and up to date client records are maintained Work in partnership with other agencies when necessary Confirm that staff are carrying out the required Health and Safety checks Ensure that staff working on the project, keep the documentation relating to our supported housing up to date at all times including Health and Safety records
