Finance Manager | Venture Capital Firm | Up to £70,000 | London
An exciting Venture Capital Group is seeking a Management Accountant to join its Team. The firm is a successful VC firm with over 10 VCTs and nearly £1 billion AUM, and it has grown significantly since it's establishment 12 years ago.
This role is very varied and offers great scope for development and growth. You will produce management accounts, prepare annual budgets and forecasts, and partner with various department heads and senior stakeholders.
Your Role:
* Producing accurate and timely management accounts monthly.
* Preparing the annual budgets for the Group's different entities.
* Preparing forward-looking cash flow for the weekly and monthly reporting.
* Liaising with business departments to obtain accurate income and cost forecasts, contributing to monthly P&L forecasts.
* Full overview of month-end processes, which includes journals, prepayments and accruals, accounts payable, invoicing, and balance sheet substantiation.
* Assisting with the management of regulatory capital requirements.
* As required, complete VAT and Corporation tax payments.
Your Skills & Qualification:
* A qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA)
* Experience within Financial Services and in a similar role.
* Experience within or interest in VC is desirable.
* Great and effective communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
