Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Nursery Nurses to join an innovative Health Visiting Team within Gloucestershire. Gloucestershire Health & Care are an evolving and dynamic organisation working collaboratively to deliver the Healthy Child Programme (PHE updated March 2021) to young children, families and communities in the county Permanent posts 22.5 hours per week for 2 individual posts. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will work under the supervision and leadership of The Health Visiting Service, we require you to have excellent communication skills, be enthusiastic, creative and flexible in your approach, to be able to work alone as well as within a group setting delivery public health / health promotion to families with children that are primarily 0 - 5 years of age. In addition to the programme we also offer all preceptees the opportunity of enrolling and completing the level 7 (Masters) 15 credit validated module Preceptorship for Healthcare (AP7026). Newly qualified Social Workers are offered the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment programme (ASYE) which is similar to a preceptorship programme.
