We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Specialist Nurse to join our established team in our Harrogate Memory service. We are looking for a dynamic and positive individual with a passion for caring for people with cognitive impairment and an interest in memory service. The service is accredited to the Royal Collage of Psychiatrists Memory Service National Accreditation programme.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced Nurse who will thrive amongst the multi-disciplinary team of professionals to assess, plan and provide patient care. You will work within a team of Registered Mental Health nurses, Support worker, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, as well as wider partner agencies including primary care services, social care and voluntary sector agencies.

Qualifications/Experience
Essential
* Current Professional Registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council - RMN / RNLD
* Recognised Practice Assessor/Practice Supervisor or currently in progress of achieving
* Trained in Clinical Supervision and providing Clinical Supervision or in the process of achieving
* Postgraduate diploma in a subject relevant to the area Or be willing to work towards and achieve within 2 years
* Within the first year of being in post hold a recognised qualification in a governed therapy/advanced clinical qualification e.g Intermediate Systemic Family Therapy/Post Grad diploma in CBT/British Isles Dialectical Behaviour Therapy /NMP (Independent Prescriber)
* Have Equivalent clinical experience to that of a Post Grad Diploma/master's level such as working as a band 6 (or above) in relevant clinical area with significant experience (see below under experience), together with evidence of relevant CPD
* Clinical risk assessment and management and its application in practice
* Quality improvement activities

* Extensive knowledge of current issues relating to health needs of patients in the field of practice, regionally and nationally
