Job Title: Maintenance engineer Location: West Drayton Pay Range: Competitive Contract Type: Perm My client, a leading company in the injection moulding industry, is seeking an experienced Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join their team on the day shift you will be working Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment where you will be crucial in ensuring optimal machinery performance and minimizing downtime. Key Responsibilities – Maintenance engineer Quickly remedy plant faults and defects to ensure machinery remains in serviceable order. Proactively identify root causes of issues and suggest areas for improvement to enhance operational efficiency. Ensure that all work follows Engineering procedures, including LOTOTO and the Permit System. Carry out routine Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on all electrical and mechanical plant, following site task schedules and asset lists. Report any critical equipment issues to Engineering management immediately to avoid downtime. Complete all required paperwork and maintain accurate computerized records. Follow all work instructions and ensure full compliance with company procedures. Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations while carrying out duties. Perform any other reasonable tasks within your capabilities to support the team. Qualifications & Requirements – Maintenance Engineer Electrical and mechanical engineering experience in a high-volume manufacturing or injection moulding environment. Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering or relevant qualification. 2 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Experience with assembly and moulding equipment (desired). IEE 17th or 18th Edition certification (preferred). PLC experience (preferred). Air and pneumatics training (desired).
