Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager - Promotions & Events to join our Sales Team in the UK.
You are driven, proactive, and ready to make a significant impact on our sales team. This role will be crucial in driving our sales efforts and promoting our top-tier apparel products. You'll leverage your industry experience and vast network to connect with top retailers, forging partnerships that will propel us to the top. Your strategic approach and keen insights will directly influence our client management strategies and sales outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industry, leveraging emerging trends, innovations, and developments.
* Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive strategic plans for key accounts, aligning with overall company goals.
* Relationship Management: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers within organizations, building trust and rapport.
* Negotiation and Contracts: Lead negotiations and contract discussions with clients and stakeholders, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
* Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze commercial performance metrics, including revenue, pipeline, margins, and market share, reporting findings to management.
* Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of the latest trends, innovations, and developments in the team sports and workwear industry sharing insights with the team.
* Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and promotional activities to build brand awareness and generate leads within the apparel sector.
Qualifications
* Experience: 5+ years of experience in sales and account management.
* Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the team sports, workwear, corporatewear, promotional and events industry, including current trends, challenges, and opportunities.
* Technical Expertise: Knowledge of embellishment techniques and products (e.g., HTL, sublimation, woven) and apparel production.
* Skills:
o Excellent communication and presentation skills.
o Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
