SEN Teaching Assistant –
We are recruiting a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in Sefton ( L23 area ), starts September for 6 months
This is a temp to perm opportunity. Monday – friday 8.30am-3.15pm

Milk Education are working with a primary school who are looking to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant. You will be supporting a child with ASD, the child already has a ECHP which has been implemented successfully. You will be supported by the inclusion team. You will support the child in the class and also you will have go into the school sensory room

Your role & responsibilities of SEN Teaching Assistant:
· Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
· Be committed to raising attainment, aspiration, and self-esteem of pupils
· Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
· You will work closely with the class teacher to provide a safe environment and engaging lesson
Non-negotiables:
· Holds a Level 2/3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, Etc.) or relevant experience within the last 3 monthss supporting children in either an education, social care, nursery, community/youth role, college/university placement or any volunteer roles
Please note, candidates without a qualification but with extensive experience (paid or voluntary) with children or a relevant setting are also welcome to apply!
1. Previously support children in schools or SEN setting or similar.
2. Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
3. Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
4. Be able to display excellent verbal communication as well as the ability to actively listen.
