By Dr Vali is looking to add a Marketing/Communications Manager at an exciting stage in its life with the flagship 360 Experiential Center in Selfridges followed by the launch of the “By Dr Vali” skincare & skin-tech range. The Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and driving the marketing strategy and implementing trade and brand and product activations The role will report in to Directors
Key Responsibilities are to:
* Develop full strategy for launch of Experiential Centre and skin tech and skincare products.
* Define, shape and implement the 360 end-to-end marketing strategy across media, in-store, Ecommerce, PPC, Social, Affiliate, Trade, Email and Influencer Marketing in line with brand objectives.
* Oversee the development of creative and compelling marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, print, events, and more
* Manage marketing calendar, in all aspects, including new product launch, social media platforms, brand events, visual merchandising, 360 campaigns and activation plans for retailers.
* Coordinate all marketing efforts and all marketing collateral across all pillars to ensure a seamless brand persona and consistent messaging. Ensure all communications reflect the brand’s tone of voice including leading creation of brand presentations and supporting materials.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners eg PR, brand partnerships, and industry influencers, to support global marketing efforts.
* Proactively identifying opportunities to drive growth and brand awareness.
* Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation across all pillars of the business. Stay informed about industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing, and integrate relevant trends into our marketing strategy.
* Develop excellent relationships with retail partners, ensuring all opportunities to promote the brand are maximized and manage trade marketing initiatives ensuring effective communication with Retailers.
* Work closely with the Sales team and retail customers to implement joint business plans, promotions, and brand activations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to secure opportunities and ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and business goals/sales targets.
* Organising product sampling projects and forecasting stock.
* Develop and manage a robust sampling plan to engage consumers (through retailer’s loyalty programmes or others). Link back to overall brand objectives, focus on new client acquisition, and deliver strong ROI while working with internal teams to execute all programmes flawlessly and on-time.
* Monitor expenditures by activity in line with budget and ensure trackers are correctly maintained.
* Report performance against KPIs for campaigns, analysing the ROI across all activities and reporting internally to key stakeholders. Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimise strategies and tactics.
* Working closely with the founder and wider team to deliver acquisition and retention KPIs to scale DTC sales.
* Manage the global marketing budget effectively, allocating resources to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives.
Requirements include:
* Good experience planning and executing marketing campaigns.
* Strong bricks and mortar: retail and trade and online marketing experience.
* Must have broad ecommerce performance marketing and working with influencers.
* Experience of launching, and supporting, brands in multiple markets.
* Must have broad ecommerce management and digital marketing experience within a luxury, fashion or beauty brand.
* Proven track record of success in developing and executing strategic marketing plans that drive business results across multiple pillars - knowing what works and what doesn’t work, specifically across digital and paid marketing.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
* Appetite for start-up environment and an entrepreneurial mindset and team player. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively on a global scale.
* Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint) and basic creative skills preferred (Adobe Creative Suite) +/- Experience with Magento, Klaviyo, Mailchimp and Meta.
* Confident with P&Ls, evaluating KPIs and managing budgets across a wide array of projects and brands.
* Strong project management capability, with good attention to detail – particularly in the creation of briefs, plans, reports, budgets and schedules.
