An exciting new opportunity has arisen for proactive and dynamic COSD Coordinators to work on a fixed-term 18-month contract at our Princess Royal University Hospital and King's College Hospital, Denmark Hill sites.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will assist the Cancer Performance Manager in ensuring that trust-wide cancer data collection mechanisms are robust and will be responsible for recording the Cancer Outcome and Services Data set (COSD). This involves developing complex information reporting tools, presenting detailed analysis, and providing expert analytical and statistical advice to support administrative teams, management, cancer nurse specialists, and clinicians.
We are looking for someone who can:
* Analyze and interpret cancer data to support the cancer management teams and data teams.
* Be organized, self-motivated, attentive to detail, able to work under tight deadlines, and capable of working effectively and collaboratively.
The role is ideally suited for someone with a minimum of three years’ experience working in the NHS, in a Band 4 or above position, and proficient in data analysis, clinical audits, and information management.
