Examination Administrative Assistant Full Time, Permanent 35 Hours per week Salary: £24,793 per annum Air Service Training (Engineering) Ltd, more commonly referred to as AST, has been providing aeronautical engineering training to the world’s Airlines, Maintenance Organisations and Military for over 90 years, in which time it has developed a reputation for innovative, effective and high-quality training to meet client needs. AST is EASA and UK CAA Part 147 Approved to offer courses and examinations to meet the requirements of the Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence in most sub categories of the EASA Category A & B group, which includes Piston and Turbine Aeroplanes, Turbine Helicopters and Avionics. AST is seeking to recruit an Examination Administrative Assistant to join its busy Examinations Office which supports a business that is developing and delivering Part 66 Training to the Next Generation of Aviation Professionals. Examinations are normally held at UHI Perth but can also take place at customer and college locations elsewhere in the UK and overseas. Candidates must therefore be willing to travel to locations within the UK and overseas. Increasingly, examinations held at a remote location will utilise local invigilators, whilst the transition to electronic online examinations will offer further changes and opportunity. Successful applicants will need to recognise this is a high-trust role where professionalism and integrity are an essential requirement of the examination process. Full training will be provided.
