Job Description
Key responsibilities of the Conveyancing Assistant include:
1. Supporting the work of the conveyancing team, along with general and more complex administration tasks.
2. Working closely with the Conveyancers and Legal Administrators to ensure a first-class service is provided.
3. Responsible for amending and collating letters with enclosures in line with set deadlines.
4. Carrying out a number of post-completion tasks.
5. Communicating with clients, stakeholders, and third parties, responding to correspondence, calls, and emails in a prompt manner.
6. Working with the Matter Lawyers, Team Manager, and others within the wider Real Estate Group where required.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Conveyancing Assistant will have:
1. Experience working within conveyancing and an understanding of conveyancing procedures - this can be in a law firm or estate agency (highly desirable).
2. Excellent clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
3. Superb attention to detail.
4. Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
5. Commitment to working within a quality standard environment.
6. Highly organized.
7. Desire to work in an interesting, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
