Job Description
Due to continued growth, we are now seeking a Supplier Relationship Manager to join a new and evolving procurement function at our Rugby site.
As Supplier Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for the performance and risk management of key suppliers, as well as the identification and delivery of value-add opportunities, to optimise Culina Group’s financial performance, business resilience, and quality of goods and services received from suppliers. The role holder will be a flexible, proactive, and resilient individual, capable of working in a fast-paced environment with competing demands on their time.
This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, offering a competitive salary and package with the opportunity to work for a forward-thinking market leader.
Job Responsibilities
* Risk management of key suppliers and key categories, to minimise supply chain issues Culina Group might face.
* Creation and implementation of strategic category plans, in conjunction with Sourcing Managers.
* Development and implementation of improved governance controls and working practices across the supply chain to drive efficiencies, value, and compliance with required standards.
* Work with both the procurement team and wider business stakeholders to fully integrate contract management and supplier performance into the overall sourcing process, to support regulatory compliance and drive further value from procurement and contracts.
Qualifications
* Proven ability to identify and implement value-add commercial solutions in a fast-paced multi-site organisation.
* Proven ability to effectively and proactively manage multiple and potentially conflicting stakeholders.
* Keen commercial and financial understanding, driving creative and market-leading value solutions.
* Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers and stakeholders to drive an optimised outcome.
* Proven ability to lead the creation of market-leading strategic category plans, taking into account performance, risk, and value.
* Confident and timely contract drafting and execution, drawing on Legal support when appropriate.
* Confident in challenging the supply chain model, as well as the demand for and specification of the goods/services.
* A general commercial mindset, always seeking to identify opportunities to add value.
