Your role
* Recognized leader for all people working in claims and collections in the region. Interface between Group and OEs.
* To ensure implementation of Claims & Collection Target Operating Model and Group Standards throughout the Region.
* To support local Claims & Collections teams and report to Group Claims & Collections on the enforcement of Group standards in order to improve and harmonize the handling of Claims & Collections cases within the region.
Your main tasks
* Support local C&C teams and report to Group C&C to ensure consistent C&C handling within the Group.
* Liaise with other regional functions (Commercial, Operations, Credit Underwriting and Assessment) and participate to Regional Committees.
* Assess and ensure good implementation of Group standards in the region's OEs.
* Propose and contribute to effective development of claims and collection Group standards, define together with Group C&C and enforce projects and action plans within the region.
* Ensure quality, completeness and accuracy of data reported to Group C&C and provide Group with performance analysis of the region.
* Involvement in large regional Claims & Collections cases management and validation of large claims.
* Follow-up large claims reserving, recoveries & salvages.
* Contribute to customer satisfaction via implementation of C&C guidelines in the OE's.
Your Challenges
* To make effective the junction of Claims and Collections.
* To make effective the roll-out of COMPASS, IMX and/or any other system implementations.
* To ensure a perfect coordination between Claims and Collections teams in order to mitigate loss and maximise recoveries for the company.
* To propose consistent improvement in C & C function in order to adapt to changing business requirements and maximise efficiency in the functions.
* To actively engage in the development of appropriate and harmonized reporting tools.
Typical functional skills & Experiences
* Good claim assessment and collection business skills, knowledge of legal and insolvency practices and knowledge of international practices.
* Sound legal and financial background.
* Ability to engage impacted stakeholders in ways permitting to drive change initiative successfully.
* Drive change throughout a complex organization (multiple geographies, multiple IT systems, skills heterogeneity).
* Ability to introduce significant improvements to processes, operations or practices.
* Good knowledge of Allianz Trade products, systems and working practices.
* Good project management skills / Process oriented.
* Broad understanding of B2B market in insurance/collection industry.
* Up-to-date knowledge of the state of business.
* Results Oriented.
* Ability to work in a matrix organization.
