You will be a key member of the Enhancing Communities team in Scotland, reporting to the Head of Social Value - Energy. You will help develop and champion the role and importance of social value to our business and its various stakeholders on our projects. You will play a key role in scoping, planning, organising and delivering our plans and events in the community, delivering value and lasting legacy where we work. You will enable and support our project teams to deliver on social value KPI’s associated with specific sites – contributing to wider ambitions we and our customers have in this area.
The role will be hybrid - a mixture of working from home and regularly travelling to sites across Scotland.
The Candidate:
1. Significant, demonstrable experience delivering social value, or in the third sector delivering community benefits or services.
2. Five GCSE’s grades 9-4 (A*- C) including Math’s, English or Level 3 Apprenticeship or demonstrable work experience involving planning, research and delivery.
3. Fully competent in SV monetarisation tools and have a clear understanding of client requirements.
4. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with multiple audiences and stakeholders to develop and maintain collaborative relationships.
5. Ability and confidence to network.
6. Full UK driving licence.
7. Ability to travel across sites throughout England and Wales.
8. Strong organisational skills.

About our Energy business
We have extensive experience in upgrading and replacing energy networks, delivering asset management for major UK energy companies and network operators.
Our transmission and distribution services involve the upgrading and replacement of electricity assets both above and below ground. Within the electricity sector we install and maintain assets, including excavation, laying and jointing of cables, (fluid filled and XLPe), substations and overhead line, new build, repair and refurbishment services.
