Annual salary: up to £32,025.00 Multi Skilled Operative Todmorden – Hebden Bridge Full Time, Permanent, 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Salary up to £32,025 per annum, plus, company van & fuel card Our housing teams provide rapid response and planned maintenance services for local authorities and registered providers and deliver in excess of 5,000 repairs every day to a growing portfolio of around 1,000,000 homes across the UK. We also provide a range of services to cover all areas of the housing sector, including regeneration, contact centre solutions, housing management, home improvement, facilities management, estate services, grounds maintenance, student accommodation and new build. About the Role: As a Multi Skilled Operative within our branch you will predominately work within our void and some occupied properties. The successful candidate will be part of a local team undertaking high standard Multi Trade repairs and refurbishment activities to Housing properties delivering best in class customer service and satisfying all safety, quality and cost control standards. The main duties will fire door installation, carpentry joinery, plastering, floor laying, tiling and decorating the properties. Role Criteria: Multi Skilled Operative with a main Trade as an experienced Carpenter & Joiner, for this position we will be looking to recruit a candidate with experience in fire door and fire safety installations and a basic skill set of other trades such as void refurbishment, painting and decorating and plumbing. We are looking for a passionate Multi Skilled Operative to join our rapidly expanding team to work within a busy repairs / voids team environment. Reporting individual job actions from site to ensure our clients receive high levels of service and high satisfaction levels as well. Experience in Carpentry NVQ level 3 in Plumber, plastering, Joinery or Carpentry Experience in another 2 trades Must hold a Full UK Driving License Be a great team player as well an ability to work on your own initiative Excellent communication and Customer service skills All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
