Freight Account Manager
Our client is a well-established Freight Forwarder that is looking to add to their team in Hampshire.
Are you confident in building new relationships and bringing new business on board?
The Role:
In this role, the successful candidate will need to apply their sales expertise and identify new business opportunities. You must have effective communication skills to build and manage relationships with customers at all levels. The successful candidate will need to cost and quote for business, plus maintain a good network of existing and potential customers. You must also have excellent negotiation skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Experience in the operational side, a commercial understanding, and excellent lead sourcing skills are essential. The successful candidate should be a good all-rounder and keen to succeed.
Essential Criteria:
* Previous Freight Forwarding Experience
* Proven sales/commercial background
* Experience in Operations and Logistics
* Excellent time management, administration, and planning skills
* Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Full driving licence
* Good negotiation skills
* Excellent customer service and IT skills
Salary & Benefits:
Our client is looking to pay a salary of £50k – £70k depending on experience for the right candidate, plus a commission-based bonus scheme.
