Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs in a Manchester:based school. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs both individually and in group settings.
* Assist in the implementation of personalised learning plans and behavioural interventions.
* Collaborate with teachers and other staff to foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Helping students learn and ensuring the classroom is a safe learning environment.
* Monitor and track student progress, offering feedback and guidance.
Requirements:
* Experience working in the UK with children or young people, especially those with SEMH needs.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting students educational needs.
* Enhanced DBS is mandatory (If you do not have a DBS on the update service you must be willing for a new one).
* Eligible to work in the UK (No Sponsorship provided).
