We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily activities of the nursery, ensuring that each child receives the attention and care they need to thrive.
Responsibilities
1. Assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities that promote children's development.
2. Provide high-quality childcare and ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the nursery.
3. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a positive environment.
4. Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive interactions among children.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery space.
Requirements
1. Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
2. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
3. Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities when managing groups of children.
4. A genuine love for working with young children and fostering their development.
5. Capability to drive or manage transportation arrangements for outings or activities may be beneficial.
6. A proactive attitude towards learning and professional development.

Job Types: Part-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £11.74-£12.50 per hour
