Premier Marinas is the UK’s leading marina operator with eleven marinas along the South Coast. We offer premium berthing and waterfront experiences at each of our locations, as well as a full range of boatyard services supported by an extensive commercial property portfolio.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a content plan for social media, developing and publishing content as well as running events for our berth holders. They will also develop and run campaigns for our self-store business, boat club and waterside mixed-used development. It is a varied role for a candidate who enjoys both creativity and running successful campaigns and events.
Key Responsibilities
Social: Develop and execute social media strategies (primarily focusing on organic) to:
1. Portray the Premier Marinas proposition via compelling and frequent content
2. Develop a range of content and templates for social media and create and maintain a content plan
3. Drive enquiry and revenue, working with paid media executive on complementary content
4. Monitor, develop and maintain Premier’s brand reputation through social listening
Events and campaigns: Develop, manage and execute The Waterfront (a mixed-use waterside development in Eastbourne) marketing programme building awareness of the proposition and driving appropriate footfall. This will be achieved through a series of frequent events, working closely with tenants. Occasional travel to Eastbourne will be necessary.
Customer events: Support or lead the creation, planning and delivery of customer events across our marinas, including developing the communications plan, building of campaigns and ongoing measurement. Local support in running these events may also be necessary.
Premier Self Store: Create localised and targeted campaigns to maximise utilisation of our onsite storage facilities at our marinas.
Premier Agapi Boat Club: Attract new members to the boat club and ensure retention of existing members. This will involve creating a range of content and campaigns.
Deliver appropriate reporting to monitor success versus agreed KPIs and targets.
Manage general marketing enquiries including reactive communications on a rotational basis.
1. Contribute to development of marketing strategies.
2. Establish and develop email templates as required.
3. Experience using website CMS’s (preferably Umbraco)
4. Understanding of the technical aspects of social media
5. Good knowledge of social media metrics
6. Full UK Driving License
7. Working knowledge of design tools, such as Canva and Adobe Express
8. Strong proof-reading ability.
9. Carry out additional tasks to support the wider Premier team as may be considered fair and reasonable.
10. Manage in accordance with Group policies, applicable laws and regulations.
11. Comply with the Group’s Health and Safety policies and procedures, including GDPR and implications.
12. Be flexible and adaptable as Premier continues to evolve, within the role and supportive of colleagues across the business.
13. Understanding of CRM tools and ability to analyse and extract data to help drive business.
