What is the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Support Co-ordinator, working 35 hours per week.
Work pattern within the following hours: Monday - Friday between 8AM - 8PM & Saturday 10AM - 4PM
Primary location: Stirling Court, however you will be expected to cover all areas of Central & Fife locality
Reporting directly to a Locality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring, within your Service(s), that VSS’slocal service development and delivery plan is being implemented within your geographical area(s). Servicedelivery is provided by a team of skilled and knowledgeable volunteers, you will be responsible for planningtheir deployment to ensure that the service delivered meets the desired outcomes of victims and witnesses ofcrime, our service users.
Responsible for all aspects of a volunteer engagement with VSS at your services, including recruitment, induction,learning and development, ongoing performance management and support. Contributing to business planning andco-ordination ensuring that continuous learning takes place to monitor that the outcomes of service users arebeing met.

What you’ll need to be successful
We are looking for someone who is experienced in a similar role and can evidence of continuing professionaldevelopment, effective leadership style, able to build confidence, motivate and improve performance. Analyticalskills, must be able to understand, collect, analyse, report and present data. The ability to challengestereotyping, prejudice, discrimination and bias. Good working knowledge of the voluntary/charity sector isrequired, as is a willingness to be flexible in working hours and able to travel as required.

Resilience Learning Partnership (RLP) is a Training & Education Provider with a dual purpose. We work across thehealth, social care, education, housing & criminal justice sectors. We specialise in Trauma InformedPractice and lived experience. We inform policy and strategy through our work, ensuring that lived experience isat the heart of all public policy making decision areas.
RLP is still a new and developing organisation. We started our journey with one staff member and a small Board ofDirectors just over 6 years ago. And, we now have 11 staff members and an ever-growing Board which we continueto add to. Our success has been primarily down to growing organically, being lived experience led and having astrong entrepreneurial approach to much of what we do.
We are looking for an experienced Project Officer who would be responsible for the delivery of RLP activitiesassigned to them by their line manager. The post holder will aim to deliver high quality and trauma informedservices that support individuals, communities, or partners that in turn, deliver on our strategic prioritiesand commitments as described in our strategic plan.
Due to the nature of funding cycles and grants in the third sector, Project Officers are expected to be able to workflexibly across a range of short, medium and longer term activities. Concentrated areas of focus for individualproject officers will be detailed within their annual workplan. This will detail where they are expected to leador support RLP activities and will be in-keeping with this job description.
This role is office based and the successful candidate will be required to attend various in-person meetings acrossForth Valley.

We are looking for an inspirational leader to develop and deliver fundraising plans in Scotland, and to provideexcellent care for faithful Scottish supporters. You’ll be working from home, with extensive travel acrossScotland.
You’ll be part of a supportive fundraising management team based in Peterborough. We have a culture of growing andlearning together, providing extensive training in fundraising and international development. You’ll also haveopportunities to visit projects overseas and see your work first hand.
• A relational public speaker, experienced in engaging audiences including churches, community groups andbusinesses

The Trust
Lanarkshire Cancer Care Trust is a local charity helping cancer patients from all over Lanarkshire by giving themfree transport to and from their much-needed hospital and clinic cancer treatments. Our service, which has beenrunning for more than 30 years, is delivered by more than 100 Volunteer Drivers who give their vehicle and timefree-of-charge, and we in turn repay them their motoring expenses at a rate of 45p per mile.
The Role
The Fundraiser will play a key role in developing and maintaining relationships with our supporters. We are lookingfor someone with great people skills, as well as drive, initiative, and determination. You will be diligent andaccurate, as well as having a dynamic approach to your work. You will be a natural problem-solver, alwayslooking to improve upon current processes to ensure efficiency.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with, and develop, fundraising events, campaigns and initiatives to engage the Lanarkshire Community andraise awareness of our service.
* Take responsibility to maintain and expand our collection can base,which is currently available in over 200 businesses throughout Lanarkshire.
* Create fundraisingmaterials, including grant proposals.
* Work with other experienced staff members on project fundinginitiatives.
* Attend networking events to promote our service and fundraising initiatives.
Qualifications:
* Drivers Licence and own vehicle is essential
* You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Solid organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
* Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
* Passionate about the service we deliver and the community we serve.
